Who Are We
What Makes South Gate Church of Christ Who We Are?
The South Gate church of Christ is a group of disciples who are striving to practice New Testament Christianity in honor of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We want to love the Lord our God and honor His will. We believe the Bible is God's revealed will for us, and it is the roadmap to a proper relationship with Him. Also, we want to love our fellow man. It is our goal to help all we meet to come into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe these are the greatest commands.
We are a nondenominational congregation. This means we have no set creed or doctrine other than the Bible. We have no headquarters, and we consider Jesus Christ the head of the church. We are led by an eldership selected from among our members, and we have ministers that serve in various capacities. We believe every member is called to serve others just as our Lord Jesus came to serve. During our time of worship we strive to focus on the Lord. We praise Him with our voices, petition Him with our prayers, and listen to messages based on His word. We would love to have you join us in worship.
